Project4 is a Nordic-Baltic commercial corporation.

The Nordics and Baltics have a combined population of 33.7 million people (2021). In other words, if we can promote a sustainable division of labor and cooperation, we will have a large single market.

The countries are in various positions, with some lacking qualified labor while others lacking investment capital and others lacking adequate electricity, etc. Such challenges will be manageable to solve together and with other collaboration for the best possible business cooperation. This could give some municipalities with negative development new life in the future.

We will offer AI (artificial intelligence) consultancy for municipal management and control, in process facilities (waste, water - sewage), and for municipal buildings and commercial buildings for economic efficiency (energy, cleaning, access control, etc.) by the end of this year through Project 4. A proposal being developed by NIDA in collaboration with our Nordic partners. The offer will be available at the end of 2024.

Nida will develop programs and concepts to promote Nordic-Baltic business cooperation in municipalities and regions through Project 4. This may entail creating concepts to attract companies to vacant industrial buildings - industrial plots, and possibly new buildings in collaboration with local and national investors for new buildings.

As another option, we would like to encourage cross-national production cooperation.

It is critical to promote long-term collaboration for the use of local development arenas in the Nordics and Baltics for product development. Similarly, we will promote or develop a database of good advisers and experts in most industries within Nida.

A communication system for users (founders, incubators, and other start-up concepts) and advisers will also be created. Several industries will be prioritized, including electronics, artificial intelligence and robotics, defense, forestry, and agriculture.

A shared sensor bank with characteristic registration, similar to genetic DNA, will accelerate the development of new electronics and will be promoted as a separate project. A sensor bank should also include all newly developed sensors from around the world, according to the idea.

Furthermore, we want to promote Nordic-climate cooperation for energy-saving systems and smart solutions for heating, water, and sewage that are sustainable in accordance with the UN's plan for a sustainable green shift. Projects will be promoted in the countries where Nida has a presence.

We appreciate your understanding that we have a long way to go before we can promote a unified system on Nida's website. In the meantime, we do our best. Learning through practice!
