Our products and services in Denmark

In all Nordic and Baltic countries, we work with municipalities, counties, regions, as well as private companies and organizations. We work in a network and have both experienced advisers in the organization and those who are the best in their field of expertise in the countries we cover.

As of today, we are working to place local Nida advisers in your country. As a result, we serve all assignments in Norway in collaboration with other Nida advisers from the Nordics and Baltics. Nida has developed consulting tools, and for assignments, we collaborate with local consulting firms, with Nida Norway serving as project manager.

The following services and advice are provided in most of the Nordic and Baltic countries, with a few exceptions.

Municipal and regional business planning advice

• Nida research in the municipality to gather facts, needs, and knowledge, as well as to propose necessary changes for existing businesses and new local initiatives aimed at innovation. We also want to connect local students in task solutions in education through defined issues, if possible. Student assignments or as part of a larger project.
• Assistance in developing a strategic plan for municipal business development, including risk assessments and recommendations for future work.
• Capacity analysis and business potential for the municipality and possibly neighboring municipalities, as well as short and long-term business-promoting concepts for innovation adapted to the municipality's potential.
• Based on concrete opportunities, the right tool at the right price for the municipality's business sector.
• Advice in the preparation of grant and loan applications
• External evaluator within business plans, etc.
• Advice - third-party assessments of land plans
• Project-related consultancy for concept development of business parks with financing models and composition of company types for cluster formation

• Advice and guidance on attracting foreign investment and companies
• Advice and review of municipal rental buildings with a focus on efficient organization, best possible maintenance and operation, correct valuation, and market letting principles. Assess the property's purpose in relation to political decisions/priorities, cost benefit in the future cf. the green shift, energy consumption reduction, or a clear recommendation for disposal based on an overall assessment.

Advice to both domestic and international businesses

•  Advice on cooperation - acquisitions
• Advice on finding the correct and optimal municipality, specifically assessment of green field for new construction, purchase or lease of industrial premises on long-term leases, building and process measures, including the selection of technology for automation and robotisation of production. The status of electricity in the short and long term. Prepare budgets and financial requirements.
• Arrange and facilitate company visits in relevant municipalities and internationally based on professional content requests.
• Correct and sufficient funding can becritical to developing a business and division of labour internationally.
• Nida provides assistance in contacting private investor communities as well as proposing appropriate local and national public instruments in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

International consultancy

• International labour division. Follow local business on a global scale. Take care of the following processes: propose a country/municipality/region and manage all processes at the localization site on behalf of the client against authorities and others until the operational phase
• Client strategy and business development within internationalization for increased exports and international division of labour.
• Contact international professional environments and/or research expertise for development projects on behalf of local businesses, including applications for public funding of new development projects.
• Arrange tailored study tours and company visits in the Nordics and Baltics with Nida representatives in these countries.
• In collaboration with businesses, propose and promote aid projects.
